A place where you can play, shop and relax. Gatlinburg is famous for great restaurants and a lively downtown atmosphere, and is only 19 miles away. While you are there, explore the quaint shops and attractions. Townsend, known as "the peaceful side of the Smokies," is only 8 miles from The Homestead community. This quiet community features crafts, antiques, golf, a steam locomotive museum, and the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing “float” down the lazy Cove River. Just twelve miles away is action-packed Pigeon Forge. Make sure to visit Dolly Parton's world famous Dollywood and the new Dolly's Splash Country or spend an evening at one of the 15 live show theaters.
